14th Street reaches its restaurant, retail prime

Carmen Lopez took a gamble on 14th Street NW earlier this year, opening her ÿ rst Current Boutique in D.C. Not only has it paid o, so far for the fashion retailer, but she expects other store owners will soon become less skittish about putting a clothing store in an area that has been dominated by restaurants.
